Customers will now have the chance to be the driving force behind their car purchase in 2024 when online retailer Amazon begins offering customers their preferred vehicle. Through a partnership with car giant Hyundai, customers will be able to search the Amazon platform for available vehicles in and around their area, equip them to their own desires, choose a suitable payment and financing method and then ultimately collect the car from a local dealership or receive delivery depending on the desired arrangement.
The agreement between the two motoroutfits further involves the application of Amazon cloud services by Hyundai producing Alexa intemediate devices in its cars starting in the next year.
“Hyundai is massively contributing to Amazon’s commitment in making consumers’ lives easier and better in more ways. This extensive, strategic partnership will assure precisely that – From switching up the means of customers’ ability to purchase a car online to offering smooth skilled portent services via Alexa in Hyundai cars,” declared Andy Jassy, CEO of Amazon in the press statement.
Following the proclamation, Planned counter Carvana and Carmax, incurred pending outcomes to their stocks, falling upto 9% and 7.5% respectively.
