Chinese President Xi Jinping said Wednesday that sustaining relations with Russia is a strategic choice, calling for further bilateral collaboration during a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Beijing. President Xi acknowledged that developing and preserving China-Russia relations is repeatedly a strategic decision accepted by both countries in light of the primary interests of their citizens. CCTV reported that Mishustin expressed that ties between Moscow and Beijing had reached “an all-time high” in a conference with Premier Li Qiang.
