Ferrari Accepts Crypto Payments For Its Cars

Galliera believes the strategy to accept cryptocurrency payments provides the company with organic growth strategies that will appeal directly to a broad range of customers seeking to capitalize on their cryptocurrency investments in tangible assets.

Ferrari are expanding their use of crypto payments into the European market for their wealthy customers, as outlined by their Marketing and Commercial Chief, Enrico Galliera. Digital currencies have had their fair share of challenges, such as their volatility and impracticality for commercial purposes, and the sometimes confusing regulatory environment, as well as the Dawkinsian energy required in the mining lobby. However, their increasing adaptation comes from the desire for Cryptocurrency investors to explore their developed currencies through tangible assets.

Galliera goes on to note the move towards reducing Cryptocurrency resource depletion, allowing customers another option of payment for environmentally-friendly electric vehicles such as those produced by Tesla. This push will likely drive Ferrari forwards, increasing their customer base as they appeal not only to traditionally affluent purchasers, but also the strong development of younger investors with acquired wealth through digital-based resources.

The whole move has all been fuelled by market demand in order to achieve Ferrari’s goal to go “carbon neutral” by 2030. Cryptocurrency payments offer prominent new opportunities and widen the appeal for potential buyers of the marque; leveraging and capitalizing on these investments adds strategic growth for the luxurious Italian firm.
