Flare has announced a new partnership with Google Cloud Marketplace, a Layer-1 Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) blockchain platform. The new partnership will add support to various blockchain APIs, such as Flare, BNB Chain, Cosmos, Hyperledger Fabric and Neo, available on the Google Cloud Marketplace. Blockchain APIs liberate developers from having to operate their own nodes for the blockchains they interact with, providing data to power applications that execute transactions and request the latest blockchain state.
Flare also provides developers with an API portal for creating cross-chain applications that access various data sources, including major crypto exchanges and wallets. Josh Edwards, Flare’s vice president of engineering, noted that the integration with Google Cloud Marketplace makes blockchain APIs easily accessible to developers and provides endless opportunities for Web3 innovation.
Edwards also hinted that Flare is working on more advanced services in the field of Web3. On top of that, Google Cloud Head of Web3 Engineering James Tromans also shared excitement about the partnership by noting that this integration brings blockchain APIs to a wider audience and potentially boosts Web3 participation.
