Recently a silk shirt with a ruffled collar worn by the late music legend Prince sold for $33,000 at a Boston auction house. Among 164 items linked to the man who sold a genre, the shirt was seen during his 98-show Purple Rain tour. A gold cross necklace and blue boots were also sold for $40,514 and $24,079 respectively. A long white cashmere coat used in the 1986 romantic comedy, Under the Cherry Moon, sold for $18,750, making the auction a stunning success.
