Ripple: Whale Moves $30M To Exchanges, Will XRP Dip To $0.50?

Ripple’s legal victory over the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) led to huge spikes in popularity and XRP’s price recently. But an anonymous wallet recently transfered close to 100 million tokens — worth over $31 million — to two centralized crypto exchanges that has served to raise the worry of many investors. According to Whale Alert, the wallet conducted two transactions — yesterday and earlier — to send 25.2 million and 43.8 million tokens to Bitstamp and CEX Bitso, respectively. Should the whale decide to entirely sell off its holding, this could threaten to drop XRP’s price into the $0.50s. The expections from the community, however, differ. Platforms such as have shown that XRP will stay above the $62 range the coming two weeks, while CoinCodex predicts a significant increase to around $0.82 by 2023 — a growthorospbof 34% today — and a further appreciation by 2024 due to the “non-security” nature of the cryptocurrency being established in legal front.
