Samsung Wallet will now support driver’s licenses

Samsung recently announced improvements for their Wallet app, along with a possible driver’s license card option. After three months of preparation, Arizona users in the United States can now add their driver’s license or other

state-issued Consequently, they will be able to go unhindered through various Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints, going straight through with their PIN or fingerprint identification.

Initially, these two features of the app, online payments and the safe download of credentials, were made available via two separate Samsung apps; Samsung Pass and Samsung Pay. Interesting updates with the wallet integration allow customers to maintain cryptocurrencies, gift cards, and tickets.

Technology and gaming enthusiast, Tehia Guerra, a junior reporter for Research Snipers commends any future changes this app is likely to bring. She said that this app serves as a great “one-stop-shop” for personal ID needs all over the United States.
