Legendary rapper, Snoop Dogg, and his social media mogul son, Cordell Broadus, have partnered to launch Death Row Games – the first studio built to specifically support minority creators developing in Fortnite with Unreal Editor.The endeavour marks a new chapter in the pair’s exchanges in the technology and gaming industries, having already collaborated on a range of projects like crypto gaming game Doge Dash and even an interactive dessert restaurant(Food Fighters Universe). Web-based monthly Afrotech were the first to publicise the news as Cordell Broadus insisted on bringing diversity to long acre gaming spaces traditionally occupied by Caucasians: “Let’s really put resources into building Death Row Games and making a home for diverse creators in the gaming ecosystem and be a part of the narrative, the storytelling of what the next game should be looking like.”
