Recently, Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, has attracted a lot of attention due to his cryptocurrency trading. On September 2, a Buterin address sold a whopping 500 MKR tokens for 350 ETH on CoWswap, making it the first time MKR tokens were sold from there in two years. It was then discovered that the same address transferred the 350 ETH accrued from the MKR tokens to the address, starting with 0x3F…2aEB, carrying an estimated value of 1.09 million USD and 415.76 ETH.
On August 28th another 3,000 ETH were moved from the ‘vitalik.eth’ address to shadowchain ‘Vb 2’. This particular move represented a transaction approximatively worth $4.95 million USD given the current crypto market climate.
More recently, on August 22nd, a wallet address known to belong to the Ethereum co-founder, Vitalik Buterin, sent 600 ETH to Coinbase. Just the day before, Buterin executed a dual withdrawing of 251,000 RAI tokens from a Maker platform in return for 1,000 ETH amounting to 1.67 million USD.
